The history book on the shelf is always repeating itself.

When I was in highschool I was obsessed with Abba. Not obsessed the way fashion bloggers are with "obtaining" the perfect black wedge shoe, but with a deep-down strange fascination.
I remember driving around in my parents minivan blasting Abba tapes. Anycool, I must have Abba-ed myself out because I've been virtually ignoring them for the last decade.
I saw this photo yesterday and a little tiny space in my heart opened up and the Benny/Bjorn/Agnetha/Anni-Frida love rays beamed in:

Those. Shirts. Genius!

Here is a link to my fave Abba song of all time....

I've said too much.

I'm 80% abba and 20% the cure.
ps: I like the way Benny's hugging the brunette's thighs on that photo.

I love it. (I'm partial to 'The Day Before You Came' because it's so very ABBA and also so very un-ABBA at the same time.)

A picture is worth a thousand words, except in this case. It's worth millions!

Go see Mama Mia immediately to get it out of your system.

When I was a teenager I had a large case full of cassettes from heavy metal bands, Bob Seger, Classic Rock etc always sitting on the backseat.

Hidden under the drivers seat I had a much smaller case holding about 10 cassettes. None of them had labels. Among these were "The Best of ABBA", "The Big Chill" soundtrack and the "Grease" soundtrack.

It was my greatest fear they would be discovered by one of my friends. I would even put the little pine tree air freshener on the radio dial whenever one of these tapes was in the deck so I would not forget it in there.

When I was in school, being caught with the wrong music would turn you into a friendless punching bag pretty quick.

ABBA were great pop-smiths backwards and forwards, they will always hold up.
