My photos aren't that spectacular so bear with me.
First, we drove to Quebec City which is the halfway point between Toronto and St John, NB.
There is always something weird with Quebec hotel rooms....this was the view from our only window:
Fresh air was not available since we were looking onto the interior courtyard of the hotel.
Also, the sink was outside the bathroom. Oookkaaaayyyy:
The room was huge though. Jumping on the bed in my "car" dress:
We had a nice deer burger at a place called "Le Hobbit." Been there? Ask for a gravy boat of red wine sauce.
We arrived in St. John the next day which was New Year's Eve.
There were fireworks in the harbor, or as I like to say hah-bah:
It was hectic in St.John because Jay's parents were moving and doing an auction at the same time.
There's Jay's dad (way up there far right) auctioning off a painting:
The calm before the storm:
It was agreed upon by all that this was the ugliest Christmas tree EVER!
It looks like a tree with sparkly tumors...you can hardly see the tree under all that crap:
There was a major snowstorm the last day we were there.
Here is a view of the snowy harbor:
