I was having a nice dream this morning.
It was sunny and warm and the buildings were painted in pastels.
There were palm trees and a nearby ocean and I had nothing but time.
In fact, I was planning on meeting Ching for brunch! How carefree...
We couldn't decide where to go. So just like in real life.
I was upset when I woke up because I wasn't done with the pleasantness of the dream (undecided brunch location notwithstanding)
I used to think I didn't enjoy vacations, time, lazy days, sun, warmth, beaches.
I want to pack up Papa J and fly to Sardinia and eat fresh pasta and cheese and pet baby goats and swim in an azure sea.
Okay, I got that idea from Anthony Bourdain.
Don't get it twisted though, my life basically rocks.
Where do you want to be right now?

Yah. I've been thinking about you recently. Maybe I'm sending you breakfast vibes. We should get indecisive about brunch in real time. Universal Grill!
It's 7.20pm Friday night. It's the end of the working week. I've just come up on the train from town and we - me, my husband, and the cat of course - are in "paradise" - our little cottage in the country. However, Sardinia sounds pretty good too! :) Have a great weekend Iron Chic.
P.S. I said cut back not cut out.
I am dying to take the train from Moscow to Mongolia and then do a trek and sleep in a yurt. I would settle for hot sun and blue water though...
