Eat the Cookie, Drink the Blood.

I'm snuggled into the couch right now engaging in one of my perverse little pleasures.
Watching the 700 Club of course!

Pat Robertson exudes pure evil, no? I imagine he sips baby blood out of a golden chalice for breakfast:

Another favorite is Joyce Meyer. One of her book titles that makes me crazy is "Eat the Cookie...Buy the Shoes. Give Yourself Permission to Lighten Up." According to her Wikipedia page, she has indeed eaten the proverbial cookie, and by proverbial cookie, I mean private jet.

Jay's guy is Pastor Mark of The Church of the Rock. I've barely begun to scratch the surface of his strange and malevolent blog.

Who else enjoys televangelism?!

Pastor Mark Hughes blog is very strange. he mocks fat people and compares his HD wrinkles to Mother Theresa so obviously image means a lot to him.

I tend to stir away from 700 Club and the like because the people seem hypocritical with their talk of caring for others while they preach hate and are rich as can be.

I drive around the US a lot and when I have only Country music or Jesus Radio to choose from, I will take Jesus every time. I like to see how long it takes them to ask for money.

I also love the little morality plays they often put on the radio. These are set in a fantasy world where people who start conversations about Jesus at work are warmly received with great interest by their coworkers.

I also get a "pure evil" vibe from many of the televangelists.

Snap and Print- That is precisely why I enjoy 700 Club so much, their blatant hypocrisy entertains me.

BdgBill- It's always about money or "tithing" as they say. Pat Robertson is evil incarnate, I am sure of it.
