Relaxin' and Taxin'.

Whada week! Between the sale, working at the store and repainting, I barely had time to complain about how tired I was. Most of the painting is done now and let me tell you, it felt good to obliterate that white floor. I am sick to death of trying to keep it clean. I was inspired by Chanel's Particuliere polish when selecting colors:

I actually brought in paint chips and matched them with dirt smudges on the floor.

People found that "funny" and "cute" but I am deadly serious about floor maintenance.

Tomorrow, I finish touching up the walls and putting the shop back together, easy, peasy, done.

Jay and I have painting down to a science.

It's Family Day (re: made up Canadian holiday) and I am celebrating by lazing around in my robe and watching garbage TV while Jay sorts through his tax receipts. (hehe) The rest of the world is going to Hell in a Handbasket so we MUST enjoy the small pleasures of life while we can!
